Our Two Cottages
Little Hare Barns at Hall Farm holiday cottage is a recent conversion of a secluded mountain stone barn on the slopes of the Sugar Loaf between Abergavenny and Crickhowell in the south east of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The holiday cottage is skilfully and compassionately restored by local builders to retain the original structure and features, such as the original oak beams and traditional stone arrow-slits. The Barns have been awarded a five star grading by the Welsh Tourist Board.
Litlle Hare Barns offer three generous double rooms and one single bedroom along with three bathrooms in two Barns. The larger Barn sleeps five comfortably with two large double bedrooms and one single bedroom, a large family bathroom and a downstairs shower room. The smaller Barn sleeps two with another generous double bedroom and a shower room on ground floor. Together both cottages can be booked to sleep seven.
The Long Hare Barn (sleeps 5)
The hall and oak lounge are full of light with french doors opening west to the garden and east to a graveled courtyard great for barbeques. The kitchen on ceramic tiles is large and spacious, well equipped, dining table for eight.
Downstairs cloakroom and shower, just right for a quick shower after cycling or walking.
Long Hare Barn has two good size double rooms, one with a king bed and a large hayloft window, the other with two single beds and two windows looking down the steep valley and across to forestryThere is a third single bedroom with ceiling light upstairs, with a large family bathroom. Oak floors and doors throughout, built in oak wardrobes.
Little Hare Barn (sleeps 2)
The smaller Barn is a ground floor cottage with a very pretty double bed room, a huge wet room, and a new kitchen diner. Just right for a week end away!
The smaller Barn sleeps two and can be booked together with the larger barn to sleep seven or for guests who require three double rooms.
